lasts nights show was so beautiful and perfect. i didn't hear anyone utter a word during any of the songs, although there were a few yip-yowlers and song requesters but it didn't bother me. the crowd was mostly reverent- in awe, i think- and they were hesitant to sing along but i think that was because it was so quiet! once everyone joined in, it was fun. i loved the 'is that the thanks i get?' "we can make it better" sing along!!! (jeff- "you could do it better" crowd- "we could sing/do/make it betbtrrtr...") after 4 hours on the road, i had the absolute joy of being able to sit the

oooh.. i will hope for a midwest show, too (chicago, specifically). i alwasy thought he was so so wonderful when he would play a couple solo songs at fruit bats shows. -
yes in small doses. the first couple times i saw them live, i thought they were the biggest snoozefest but theyve grown on me.

i pretty much have an anxiety attack at any GA show I go to now-a-days (which is very few). the idea of holding a spot for a friend using the restroom is the most horrifying thing. knowing that you and you alone will have to fend off any number of insane people clamoring to infringe on your personal space is just getting too much for me. after the tweedy solo show in january i just lost it. how is it that i told a couple "sorry but my friend is standing there and is using the restroom" and then they actually ignored me and then i got heckled by a drunk moron behind me for even attempting t

i was born in oceanside! i also grew up in san marcos and lived there most of my life. the best record store is Lou's records on the coast highway in encinitas. they have a big "new" room and in the same parking lot, a big "used" shop (and a separate dvd/video store, too!). from oceanside, take I-5 south, exit encinitas blvd and go west, right on coast hwy and it'll be on your left up a couple minutes. 434 N Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas, CA 92024 http://www.lousrecords.com/

and you thought your summerteeth LP was worth $$$
alison the wilca replied to Dr. Steve Brule's topic in Just A Fan
holy crap... i got this as a christmas gift from the other two wilcas a few years back. they picked it up for about 10 bucks at amoeba. that is insane... although i would never ever part with it. -
i do the same thing with my mac. my understanding is that the technical team will collect these and if whatever the error is happens to enough people, they will make the correction of the problem a part of their next release/update of that software. you pretty much won't ever get a response or even know if they did anything.

what is one supposed to do when there are litte kitten alley cats living under the stoop on the side of your apartment building? i fed them but cannot take them in (going on vacation and have another cat already). i dont want to bring them to a shelter. do any chicagoans here want some cute little hungry black kittens? i feel so sad for them and it will get cold soon!!
