3 of these four guys were very good friends of mine in college. besides being reeeeally great live, they are such nice and genuine people. i didn't get to see them until recently for the first time and thought they sounded great and are obviously having a ton of fun doing what they are doing. i personally like nate's voice a lot, but i think its one of those "bono" voices that people either love or it drives them nuts.

yeah, when you stop at baker, eat at the mad greek (their sign is in that photo)... its a greasy spoon kind place but really great road food. stop in primm (just past the state line of NV) and ride a roller coaster. Its a weird little town consisting of a couple big hotels and a shopping mall and the first gambling spot on your way to vegas. you should go to joshua tree, if possible, as well. big sur is GORGEOUS. accommodations are generally camping/rustic or lavish resorts. you can find lots of interesting stuff online. While you are near big sur, go see the redwoods near santa cruz.

yeah, don't be fooled into the somewhat recent designation of "west bucktown." there is no west bucktown... its humboldt! how goofy. not that theres anything wrong with humboldt park, of course. also, real estate prices range greatly from neighborhood to neighborhood so depending on what you want to send to buy or rent, that may limit you.

yeah, something about carpet in a bathroom really brings out the anxiety case in me. i would be super scared of mold, toilet overflow, and if you are ever too close to being asleep in your middle of the night urinations you might "miss" and hit your brand new berber. also, make sure your wallpaper doesn't just peel off before you spend $$ on chemicals.
