A week filled with concerts! Enjoying it....as long as my brains don't turn to goo by the end of the week :beer :beer :beer

Do tell, do tell...brains eventually do turn to goo, so why worry?

nice! we have friday off, but i'll be spending most of my weekend writing a ton of stuff.

Yeah, this weekend is going to require some serious work on my second composition piece and studying for a music exam next Friday. But Saturday is a ginormous campus wide party and I get paid next Wed. so I won't complain.

This one is sweet. I love all propoganda posters. They're great.

I assume you mean that you understand the genius of imdwalrus without knowing the specifics of what I'm talking about, or did someone pass along a PM, or, better yet, did you infer the specifics? :w00t

Well, I have long understood the genius of imdwalrus, so I would have agreed with that no matter what. But what I meant was that I had the exact same thought as soon as I saw the post (the same thought I'm assuming you had, that is) which is why I was so delighted to find someone else who has been around enough VC threads over that much time to notice it too.

'nother one of those nights, huh?

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are our production nights. We're almost done, I think.

Never read that book, or much of that guy at all.

He's definetly one of my favorite writers. He's very clever, although sometimes he can be a bit overbearing, I suppose. He's very much aware of his own intelligence, and that can be a huge turn off in writing. But it works for him because he's very earnest about the things he writes about, and you can tell he's not just saying things to be ironic or hip.

Going into Fargo Rock City, you really do expect it to be ironic and back handed, but he truly does love heavy metal, and that's why it is so successful at what it is.

"Probe" is right up there with "mull" in top headline verbs.

Dude, you mix vodka and SoCo and your paper will be about vomit.

No, it would never work.

I think writing a paper about heavy metal while sober just wouldn't be right.

I think you are right. The problem is starting the paper.

No, it would never work.

I've decided I'm going to skip the SoCo. It's tough, but I have to do it.

(I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but I'm not. Do not fear).

I wasn't either. Papa couldn't write much until he had a good buzz on. The key is not getting so drunk that you can't type any more.
