Guest Jules
I always thought the whole band should cover The Band's tune Stage Fright. Wilco's full band instrumentation would suit the song well. Nice call.

froggie
I really dig his cover of John Wesley Harding. LouieB the harp solo from the first of the chicago shows last year sounds note-for-note to dylan's one
KNevitt
I always thought the whole band should cover The Band's tune Stage Fright. Wilco's full band instrumentation would suit the song well. No shit, but maybe John should take vocals, I think his voice suits the song better and since he is one of the greatest bass players since Mr. Danko. It would be amazing. But really, Wilco playing the band would make me very, very happy no matter the song or instrumentation.
summertweedy
Golden Smog has played What's So Funny... with Jeff taking lead vocals. They played it a lot on the Down By the Old Mainstream tour. Jeff does the song well.do you have an mp3? i'd love to hear it...

aver
I'd like to see Wilco play some stuff from Forever Changes. Or maybe Odyssey and Oracle.
jakobnicholas
I'll second "Unwelcome Guest".....it may be my favorite Mermaid song. Jeff would do a great Big Star "Blue Moon". I'd like to hear the band play Ronettes' "Be My Baby".....Glenn would smoke on the drums...and John and Pat could be the background singers....it'd be sweet.
Synthesizer Patel
I'd like to hear Jeff attempt Shooby Taylor's Lift Every Voice and Sing. (i like car crash entertainment)
