blindgonzo
I love it and can't wait to hear it live. also, i just discovered that El Perro Del Mar also has a song called Shake it Off...its also pretty good!
awatt
Somewhere there's a war, sometimes there is art... I love this song (surprise?). Some parts remind me of Pink Floyd, mainly the organ and Jeff's lead guitar in middle and at the end.
Beltmann
Tonight Sky Blue Sky was playing in the house, and when the first notes of a certain track began, my two-year-old daughter brightened and shouted, "Oooh! Shake It Off!!!" If the ensuing crazy-ass dancing is any measure, she likes it.

lost highway
I have been back and forth since I heard it. I've decided that I really dont like the intro all that much but once it starts freakin its funk it rules. (i.e. when the fuzzier vox kick in "sometimes theres a war".) bobbob1313
It's not the best thing they've ever done, and Jeff sounds kind of lazy on it. Probably should've been a Loose Fur song.

Sir Stewart
huh?I take that to mean poortranslator thinks Loose Fur's music is kind of snob-nosed, ie, snooty, snobby. I can sort of see that.

Elements I've never felt in any Wilco song.
Guest Jules
For a Yes or No question, this thread sure has its share of bullshit.

Elements I've never felt in any Wilco song. That's basically what I mean. Loose Fur is always satirizing something. Shake It Off doesn't satirize anything. It just doesn't work.
