bobbob1313
In less sad news, Troy Tulowitzki had a sweet unassisted Triple Play today. Bah! What was it? Thats my guess.

MattZ
Big Papi was signing his book in the Barnes & Noble near my office today. The line to get in the store was wrapped all the way around the corner. There were a lot of folks in that line with Yankees hats. I thought that was interesting.

bobbob1313
I know it's still only the 4th inning, and it's against Chan Ho Park, but: I love to see us beat up on the Mets. I hope this post doesn't come back to haunt me.

bobbob1313
You guys will probably take the next two games, but it's nice to see us grab a probable W in New York. But then, I think MLB needs to make a rule that when Chan Ho Park or Jose Lima makes a start, the game shouldn't count. It's not fair to anyone.
MrRain422
Jose Lima is still around? It's still Lima Time in NYC? Why?
bobbob1313
Jose Lima is still around? It's still Lima Time in NYC? Why? I was referring to the game at Shea last year when it was Lima time for about 25 pitches, until Dontrelle Willis hit a grand slam. I didn't even celebrate when 'Trelle hit that one. I just laughed. It was hysterical.
MrRain422
The sad thing is, there was a time in my life where I sort of liked Jose Lima, because he was one of the best players on the Tigers. Forget the 119 loss season, having Jose Lima as the future of your team is the lowest of the low.

MrRain422
Oh, I see. He gets Kris Benson's old roster spot.
bobbob1313
Dan Uggla is slumping pretty badly so far this year... Regression to the mean, I guess, but he's one of my favorite players. I hope he can bounce back. This has been a much better game since Park was taken out. Beltran is scary good, huh?

bobbob1313
congrats earlbob -- the Marlins looked good last night. I'm not feeling too confident about tonight, since we have Ricky Nolasco going. He was really good last year against everyone but the Mets. The bats are going to have to come out in full force. Is it Maine for you guys tonight? It's Pelfrey, who hasn't been that good this year. And Valentin the Nolasco killer is out. Holy crap, Valentin demolished Nolasco. 3 hits 9 RBI? That insane.

bobbob1313
Nolasco's dealing so far tonight. Those two curves he threw to Reyes in the 5th inning to strike him out were just sick. Also, brighter days are ahead in KC: They called up Billy Butler today. And it seems the Marlins have the answer for Reyes tonight. Dude cannot hit the slow, 12-6 curves.
