yankhotelfox
Reds win, Reds win !!!!!!! I don't wanna hear anyone complain about their bullpen problems. The Reds have Stanton, Weathers & a bunch of high schoolers Hahaha. Arroyo has been horrendous. I had to fire him from my yahoo team. The Yanks have Rivera, Proctor, Farnsworth, Myers and other "established" veterans and they are mostly all unreliable, except for bad ass Brian Bruney. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=7324 If anyone knows how to change the link from a web address to "here" please inform me. Lammycat
I'd guess yes with Clemens. He's got a knack for flair and drama. It'll be his word that he's ready to go and I can't see why he wouldn't want to go next weekend if he's ready or even close to ready.
MattZ
I know it's early, but can someone remind me how the wildcard rules work? Does the #1 team play the wildcard in the first round if they are from the same division? I remember they didn't back in the old days, but I can't remember if that changed. What if the wildcard has a better record than a different division winner? In other words, do I have to be worried about the possibility of the Mets playing the Braves in the first round of the playoffs?
PigSooie
I'm pretty sure that the wild card winner can't play someone from the same division in the 1st round.
MrRain422
That's correct. Two teams from the same division cannot face each other in the first round of the playoffs.
