shot in the arm (!)

i am trying to break your heart

war on war

impossible germany

sky blue sky

walken

poor places/reservations

hummingbird

i'm a wheel (Pat's big moment...)

via chicago

i'm the man who loves you

spiders (!)

the late greats

you are my face

pot kettle black

heavy metal drummer

kingpin (last song)

Don't know, if I forget some songs...

The show was great - among the 5 best shows I've ever seen (2nd Wilco show).

Location was an old industrial hall - probably not sold out, but almost I guess

First Carla Bozulich played. Five (?) songs - three songs with Nels Cline (one of them also with Glenn) and one with Mikael. She said it was her birthday and thats why they came on stage.

Wilco started at about 10.10 PM, playing until 0.20 AM

The band had a lot of fun, Tweedy getting happier (and "talkier") with every song.

Best moments:

Seeing Nels "work" - about 2 or 3 meters in front of me. i have never seen this before. giving everything in every song - and adding a lot (in my opinion) to some older live-songs, especially Shot in the arm - and playing the end of Kingpin laying on the floor, legs up in the air

Glenn playing whole spiders without his kick-drum, which broke, and using his toe instead, which lead Jeff to a little talking about the size of Glenns bodily parts and their use for drumming...

Via Chicago - last chorus, right after the noise, when Jeff starts singing again - everything was quiet, really quiet - what a great moment

Spiders - Guitar wars between Nels and Jeff

Jeff asking the audience where they were from - one guy pretending he was from antarctica

Whatever - fantastic show, great communication, the band in a great great mood - what more can I ask for... Wilco deserves every support

I didn't see any tapers, but was standing at the stage from start to end of the show

PS: Merchandising sold T-Shirts, poster (european tour), skull-bag, stickers, a local record store sold CDs/Vinyl - including sky blue sky-vinyl

...and sorry for my bad english

Poor Places > Reservations > Spiders

Best Wilco three song combo!

I had my ipod on shuffle yesterday and it came up with this sequence:

Impossible Germany>Muzzle of Bees>Poor Places>Spiders

...which dawned on me how much that would cook live, particularly if each song bled into the next. :thumbup

Thanks for the setlist, had forgotten a few. This was probably the best gig I've been to, saw them back in 2002 and this was so much better.

And the guy from Antartica is my mate and he's Irish.
