Mystik Spiral
i like that one. now: going to see them in a bit as long as i can shake myself out of this heat-induced lethergy. it's been way too hot here and it's barely even july... ugh.
Welsh Rich
What do you think of it? I'm currently of the opinion that if it weren't for Neo Consumer and Baby Ate My Eight Ball then this would be up there with Guerrilla and Phantom Power in my imaginary list of favourite SFA albums. I really liked it - certainly a return to form. Seems as though they've gone back to writing proper songs, for want of a better description. It's certainly their best since Phantom Power IMO. For me this morning:

Definitely - for some reason I forget about it and yet I continually hum some of the singles... it's an odd album... Happy Birthday OKC!

cryptique
Previously I'd only known the song "Don't Look Back" from these guys (from the Nuggets collection). This 2007 reissue is really good.

Just got around to listening - This is fantastic. I can see it sort of becoming a bit irritating like say Moxy Fruvous with Banjos, but until that time comes.... Next up is to catch up with Blitzen Trapper or what ever they are called
