TCP
I like Jenny and Blake's stuff apart rather then together.
Mystik Spiral
hmmm... from a HUGE rilo kiley fan - i'm not too impressed. only listened to it once though. jenny is smokin' hot (as usual), and playing the bass if i'm not mistaken.
explodo
Not too sure about that one...
lizish
what a waste of time. All of it.
solace
Not too sure about that one...figured the song would be fairly polarizing i'm just glad they decided to change it up, because the last RK record, save for 3-4 great tracks, was a bit dull compared to the previous ones. Orkie
What an awful piece of shit that song and video is. Reminds me of Belle and Sebastian going "pop".

You getting payola now? Just because R-K may want to advertise on Blogs and such, you should still be able to say something is absolute crap instead of 'dull'. I mean porn stars talking about their lives. You can't get more banal. And I'm saying this all with a grain of salt.
rareair
i skipped the interviews but the song was not bad. i could probably watch jenny sing old mcdonald however.
PigSooie
How disappointing.
embiggen
the song is pretty good, but that video sucks. totally unnecessary.
Wendy
What on earth possesed her to not show her OWN boobs, for crying out loud. Isn't that what ya'll were waiting for?
EL the Famous
the riff sounds cribbed from the music that plays when phoebe cates unleashes her cans in glorious slo-mo in 'fast times'. as far as the video goes, i would have gotten different porn stars.
nettles
strangely enough, Tommy Gunn was on the Philly Local news recently on a story about the porn industry. I thought the song was just OK, might be better in the context of the record.

And I'm saying this all with a grain of salt.a) this didn't come from an email through my blog, i heard the song on the radio here and found that video online and decided to post it even before i saw the video, when i heard the song, i thought it was kinda cool (i dig the 70's vibe to it, what can i say). i'm not saying it's a killer song, but i can appreciate a bit of a change (as long as the rest isn't like this). plus i just really love that one guitar riff... and like i said, i guess if you guys want more generic indie pop (with the exception of like 3-4 songs) along the lines of More Adventurous, fine... but i was pretty let down by that record after Execution and Takeoffs... but yeah, definitely hoping the album is better and not all similiar to this sound. lizish
Hope so too - I hated More Adventurous and unfortunately this song has sent the band down a couple more personal notches.. ah well...

solace
i also like the fact that this song has a nice electric feel to it, something that's been missing from them lately...
