Not too sure about that one...

figured the song would be fairly polarizing

i'm just glad they decided to change it up, because the last RK record, save for 3-4 great tracks, was a bit dull compared to the previous ones.

You getting payola now? Just because R-K may want to advertise on Blogs and such, you should still be able to say something is absolute crap instead of 'dull'.

I mean porn stars talking about their lives. You can't get more banal.

And I'm saying this all with a grain of salt.

a) this didn't come from an email through my blog, i heard the song on the radio here and found that video online and decided to post it

B) even before i saw the video, when i heard the song, i thought it was kinda cool (i dig the 70's vibe to it, what can i say). i'm not saying it's a killer song, but i can appreciate a bit of a change (as long as the rest isn't like this). plus i just really love that one guitar riff...

and like i said, i guess if you guys want more generic indie pop (with the exception of like 3-4 songs) along the lines of More Adventurous, fine... but i was pretty let down by that record after Execution and Takeoffs...

but yeah, definitely hoping the album is better and not all similiar to this sound.
