thekindfarm
It must be because it should be at the below link. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/04003EF08CCC6177 well that makes me sad. i won't be around tomorrow to try and get tickets, either. oh well, three times in the span of a year is pretty good. zebra
Have somebody else get them for you. Maybe? So, since this is a charity show, do you think they will have request like Jeff's charity show in April? How cool would that be?!?
watchtower41
What do you mean by venue shirt? Sometimes for a big show they'll print up a specific shirt for that show(s). Here is the last one they did for the Auditorium Theatre shows last November. They probably still have alot of these left because the design of the shirt isnt all that, I doubt they sold too many. But usually if they do a special edition shirt for the merch stand, its one of the first things to sell out along with the limited ed posters. http://wilco.shop.musictoday.com/Product.a...&pc=WCCT108
zebra
I've seen that shirt, I hate it. So, you recommend getting a poster ASAP?
OOO
I've seen that shirt, I hate it. So, you recommend getting a poster ASAP? Yes. They hired their best poster designer for this show and they will be gone in an instant.
zebra
How much do they usually cost? 10? 15? $ And are they sold in rolls or what?
watchtower41
How much do they usually cost? 10? 15? $ And are they sold in rolls or what? Usually 20$ and yes, they usually do have a poster holder of some sort for them. The print run tends to differ for each show though.
zebra
Yeah, the artist guy was in here on like page three. His work is amazing and I am sure he will create something nice. I am waiting to see if my brother is going to make a shirt for the LA show, I might have him press me one. Lucky bastard, he got a photo pass and a after show backstage party pass. Edie
So, since this is a charity show, do you think they will have request like Jeff's charity show in April? How cool would that be?!? It would be ultra cool, but I'm betting against it. You can always start a requests thread though. The band does read the board so you never know.
zebra
Maybe a roll call and request thread?
gogo
I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but when I saw this They hired their best poster designer for this show.I just knew. But I had to go back and find this There will be a poster for this show.to be sure.

JRiordan
That was a brutal TM onsale... pulled up Sec 205 but was sure I'd get better if I tried again, but all that came up (after many attempts) was Sec 201 and LAWN several times. Ended up with 3 tix, not even sure what section, calling TM right now...
Les Paul
After what seemed to be hundreds of failed attempts, I was finally able to snag two tix in section 101 !! Should be an awesome show ! I have not been fortunate enough to even see this current line up live yet
virtualreason
I got section 103, row U, right in the middle, right in front of the soundboard. If any taper wants to trade, let me know.
JRiordan
I think I had worse chances since I was going for 3 tickets... man. Still on phone trying to confirm order
JRiordan
OK, at least the order is confirmed! Sec 202, row MM. Not the best, but I've sat all around the Pritzker before and it's so nice, so I don't care THAT much Still this was a crazy onsale and everyone who did the presales should be giving thanks! jdmel
Sec 201... thankful to get pavilion tickets, thought they had sold out when I somehow still eventually got through
mrrockmusic
I eventually pulled a "limited view" single ticket at around 10:15 after having not been able to pull anything. I am in Section 103 row V, so I must be next to, or in back of, the soundboard. It was about time I had some ticket karma. Earlier this week I was attempting to buy tickets to the Pearl Jam show at the Vic, and I was on the website at 1pm sharp, but the purchase icon for the show never appeared for me--and about 10,000 other people, but there were reports of people scoring one of the 500 sets of tickets as late as 15 minutes after the tix went onsale. In that instance, we could thanks Pearl Jam's shitty website, and in the Wilco case we can thank all the fucking asshole brokers trying to hoard the tix on Ticketmaster. JRiordan
Yeah I have no doubts that scalpers ate a lot of tickets up. Smashing Pumpkins recently went with Will Call ONLY for their 9 nights in Asheville, NC and 12 nights in San Francisco (still going on there). It is SO much better that way -- the scalpers are 99% eliminated
jcarlile1
well, damn, was on exactly at 10, but after going through all the passwords, etc. it says I've got multiple accounts running, I guess because I got a message the first time saying something I don't even know what now, but anyway, wasn't able to get anything, wasn't looking for lawn seats. You know, I really miss the old days before every f***ing person on the planet was looking for tickets! Sorry new fans! Well, I've seen Wilco once this year, guess that must be my limit........... It's easier now to get Rolling Stones or Bruce Springsteen tickets! WTF! Sorry for the rant people, but I hate TM and all the pre pre pre sales!Well, here I am replying to my own post. I did try again today and got section 205 seats, row NN. While I know they're not the best, I'm happy just to be in the pavillion. It will be my first time there and also at Millenium Park! Being from way out of Chicago, we're just never been there before... Sorry to anyone I offended yesterday with my rant. It's always so hectic ordering on line, I don't know if you all are the same as me, but I get shaking and really tense trying to find tickets..... That doesn't excuse my language, nor the fact that I was dissing new fans. I'm so glad Wilco is drawing new fans (and younger fans) all the time. That's a very good thing! So anyway, looking forward to the show and my apologies to everyone..... I don't mind the price of tickets at all and I love the fact that Wilco donates their time and talents to charities. It is very cool of them. Bravo Wilco
zebra
So, has this show sold out yet?
sureshot
i tried to get 1 fricking lawn seat...no dice. oh well, its probably for the better. its gonna be chaos down there. i got to see them 2nd row at the aud theater in '03, nothing could match that for me anyway. and f*ck brokers. there has got to be a better way to do this. i like the all will call idea.
