Regarding Oink's Legailty

Recommended Posts

Hi guys;

My friend just gave me an Oink invite - and it's great. The ease at which I've gotten these cds is nothing short of mind-blowing. But I have to ask: how is this any different from download sites such as Napster and Lime Wire? Do people from Oink get fined by the RIAA? Thanks.

Yeah, but can a court order pry that information loose?

You know if you are going to be up on a soap box about starting threads/searching, you should at least filter your search example. I mean come on, Now Playing, Ryan Adams, Icky Thump and New Spoon July 10th are not really representative of "threads you could post this in".

A couple of thread you could posted this in.

It is never going to be legal to snag music without paying for it - outside of a band letting people download songs with their permission.

Perhaps ONE of those threads applies to my threads' subject matter; the rest either have to do with Oink invitations or subjects having nothing to do with the one at hand. Lighten up.
