Gobias Industries
Damn...if I only had the money. Bela Fleck is godly. Best banjoist to walk on this earth. And Mr. Tweedy
redfieldp
Damn...if I only had the money. Bela Fleck is godly. Best banjoist to walk on this earth. And Mr. Tweedy I was just about to be like, "Um, it's free..." but then I realized you meant $ for a plane ticket!
pnêyu
...and Gillian Welch, Nick Lowe, Teddy Thompson, Emmylou Harris, and far too many others to list. It'll be good to see Jeff on the Friday; it'll be a lot less crowded than Saturday or Sunday. Andrew Dowdall, if you're reading this, maybe this is the sign you need! Gobias Industries
I was just about to be like, "Um, it's free..." but then I realized you meant $ for a plane ticket! And I could expect airline delays like crazy. Alas, the fate of Midwesterners...

Lammycat
Holy cripes that's an insane line-up (Prine, Jorma, Doc Watson, Del McCoury, Grisman, Emmylou, Louvin, Earl Scruggs, Steve Earle, Skaggs/Hornsby, Pete Wernick, Bela, etc., etc.) and Tweedy, to boot.

quarter23cd
Damn...if I only had the money. Bela Fleck is godly. Best banjoist to walk on this earth. And Mr. Tweedy Try SkyBus. They fly into Oakland...looks like $125 each way, which isn't as dirt-cheap as some of their flights, but hey, its something to consider. I do like Bela Fleck, though haven't listened all that much. The only time I've seen him play live is once probably a decade ago he opened a big arena show for Dave Matthews (hey, I was there b/c of my gf at the time, I swear! ) and his set was 100% better than the uninspired set Dave played that night. Haha I would totally agree. DMB puts on a good show, but it doesn't have ANYTHING of Fleck, and least of all, Wilco.
