rareair
I'm still trying to decide if this query is a joke. i think some people would really prefer Ryan Adams over Bright Eyes.

Orkie
Neither. Both are the "Warrant" of the Americana world.
Stefanie
bright eyes! the recent tour has been AWESOME!!
bobbob1313
Neither. Both are the "Warrant" of the Americana world. I liked you better when you were named Essox500. Oh, wait. No I didn't.
Mr. Heartbreak
Neither. Both are the "Warrant" of the Americana world.I was going to say, "Isn't there a box I can check for None Of The Above?" But this was way harsher.
bobbob1313
If someone is asking which of 2 artists to see, whyu would you reply by saying you like neither, and that he should not see either. The original poster obviously enjoys both, so why do it?
Mr. Heartbreak
I can't speak for anybody else, but my excuse would be as follows: "I'm just a slave to temptation."

TheMaker
Ryan Adams, because the only activity related to Conor Oberst that I'd enjoy taking part in involves his big whinging melon and a swift roundhouse kick to it.
kathyp
I've never seen either one, but I'd go with Ryan Adams (I can't. It's sold out here.) because the sound of Conor Oberst's voice makes me want to ram knitting needles in my ears. I'm trying, though, to find at least one Bright Eyes song I like. dondoboy
Bright Eyes. No contest, that show is amazingly good. Best show I've seen in a really long time.
El Picador
I saw Bright Eyes close for Gillian Welch (I was there to see Gillian and David) and was actually pretty impressed with the performance. He was not nearly as sad sounding as I imagined. I have yet to see Ryan Adams live but I'm a fan of 1/2 his songs (mostly Whiskeytown and with the Cardinals). Based on what I've heard from live recordings, I am really anticipating Ryan Adams and the Cardinals coming to Southern Calif again soon.
Tweedling
Bright Eyes....Mainly because of the possibility of M Ward. Now that I think of it, the fact that so many people are hating on BE makes me like them even more. I was not impressed with the first appearance I saw. (with wilco on ACL) I'm trying, though, to find at least one Bright Eyes song I like.Lua or First Day Of My LifeHave you heard either of these?
brettac1
Ryan F'ing Adams. No contest. I am going to see him twice in September (Madison and Milwaukee). He and the Cards are the best thing going as far as live bands today, IMO.
