Welsh Rich
Currently playing / watching the Paul Mccartney show at the Roundhouse in London as part of BBC's Electric Proms. And it's really good - plenty of old stuff in with the new stuff. A great rendition of "Band on the Run"!

Artifice
Major Matthew Sweet kick today. Listening to 3 albums back to back. NP: May I just say that Falling is one of his really underrated tracks. I've never actually met anyone who likes that song, but I love how well he nails the mood on it and sustains it throughout the track. Or, maybe it's just Richard Lloyd's contribution. Also, I Wanted To Tell You, on Girlfriend, is another underrated gem.

lizish
^^^ I try to pimp local, but I can't stand that. Weak Buckley vocals with no redeeming instrumentation. I have no idea why it won the recent Polaris.

lizish
i think it's pretty good myself... not amazing, no You're a pretty big Buckley fan though right? I want to rip out my eyes when Patrick Watson gets played. Guess I'm not really open to that kind of affected vocal, but whatever... Other part for not really liking is that it is by far the weakest of the Polaris nominees. How it got groupthinked into winning is beyond me. I mean Neon Bible, the Remainder, Woke Myself Up, Skelliconnection.... life is too short to listen to even so-so music. My Buddy Moose I think MBM is Croatian twang. cool.
