the_fliz1
Is Glen's music all percussion related or does he sometimes don a guitar and sing also?

Gobias Industries
Glenn is a master of percussion. Why would he need to sing, much less play a guitar? edit: I smell a smell that smells like Glenn accompanying Bird on some stuff.

insideoutoflove
this is awesome. two musical geniuses in one place. im sure they will be doing some amazing stuff together on stage..wish i could go!
the_fliz1
percussion. check out this video Definitely interesting. I've never been one for straight instrumental type music unless it's very melodic. That man has outrageous timing. I wish I had that kind of timing. Every time I get behind a drum kit I do fine until i try to incorporate my feet and then it just goes right out of the window. I'm more of a meat and potatoes kind of musician I guess. zebra
Glenn is a master of percussion. Why would he need to sing, much less play a guitar? No kidding, he really is THE master of percussion. Some guys can play a kit well or percussion instruments well, but he does both like an expert. Sometimes, he plays both his kit and non-drum percussion instruments at the same time. Seeing him play up close is beyond words.
Papillon Parade
Wow, I'm jealous of everyone that gets to go to this show.

Mr. Kinsley
Pair this thread with the "Andrew Bird is going to join Wilco" thread, and more than a few people's heads around here might just explode from sheer giddiness.

loldoctor
What was in those boxes he opened in the beginning? Crickets?
pnêyu
Not real ones--I can't find an image of it on the Web, but the singing cricket boxes are widely available in any Chinatown in the country.

loldoctor
haha Glenn is so cool. I was browsing music in border's and noticed they had Mobile... right there in the front of the rack too! It was next to Korn though.
alii
I love that Glenn can be bothered to play on Bird's under-card, but can't be bothered to tour the UK any more. That man's got his priorities right. /sarcasm
