cryptique
Thoughts?Pretty good, overall. There were moments I loved and moments I didn't. The setlist isn't quite what I'd ask for, but I'm one of those liked-their-earlier-stuff fans, so I wouldn't expect them to try to please me. I enjoyed it, and it'll probably get an occasional spin 'round these parts. Why did Mills(?) sing "Rockville"? I don't get that. It really needed Stipe's help, especially in the bottom range. I haven't seen them in quite a while, though ... does Mills always sing that one? Do they even play it much these days?

Lammycat
This is what I've heard about 5 times this a.m. trying to get the baby to nap. It's usually the go-to nap album for him. I may need to try a variation today, though:Â Â Â ed. I love the Todd Snider.
lizish
I  that cover.  Emailed the artist, Stewart Jones, and will *hopfully* be buying something of his.  http://www.myspace.com/stewjones  Jay- take a look at the stuff in this myspace photogallery. Very beautiful.   NP - Okkervil River - You Can't Hold The Hand Of A Rock And Roll Man (Skiffle Version). This would have been nice on the album
lizish
 Ladyhawk is in town on Wednesday. Alright Ladyhawk.  (they seem to talk about themselves in the third person, 'Ladyhawk does this and Ladyhawk does that'. Usually I try to talk to bands after shows, if only to say that I really enjoyed their set. Not so sure I'll do that with these guys. Very strange band)  My old jackknife is always on meAnd every time they tie me up I cut myself looseI cut myself loose I walk alone my hand upon itEverytime I slash a tireI cut myself looseI cut myself loose Angels reaching down from on highPlace their blessings on it
