mfwahl
1) am i the only person who thinks the statement about digging through the catalogue means they'll scatter a few rarities into each show, instead of playing the whole catalogue?? This is what they said in the email that I got:Over these 5 nights the band will endeavor to perform every song in their now extensive ouvre (or is that canon)? This includes all the studio recordings and their contributions to the Mermaid Avenue records. Plus, who knows what else? To further clarify, the plan is NOT to do the material sequentially or chronologically. Rather, they're just going to attempt to cover it all over the 5 shows. It'll be a real blast, we're certain. The words "endeavor" and "attempt" kind of leave it open so they don't have to play everything, but they mention all studio albums, including the mermaid avenues, "plus who know's what else" If they don't play at least 80% of their albums I'd be really surprised. Plus, they've promised to play a different setlist each night. If they're playing for at least a couple hours each night and not repeating they're gonna have to play more than a few rarities. So to answer your question: yes, you are.
