Littlebear
C'est brilliant It's spelled "brillant" in French The French doesn't put a "i" after the double "l" since the double "l" in French makes the sound "y" when it follows a "i" Ah, don't learn French, people, it will drive you crazy

Yeah, I know I was just cross pollinating French and English, I thought "brilliant" was a very English word, I didn't know it had a French equivalent. Should've kept it simple and put: c'est the dog's bollocks So to summarize: English good, French bad.

solace
C'est brilliantdoesn't even compare remotely to The Warning (or even the first one for that matter) for me... far too many mellow/slow/chill ballads and only a few uptempo songs. the only track i'd put on par w/ the best of The Warning tracks is 'One Pure Thought'. not that i'd consider Hot Chip great songwriters, but the songwriting & lyrics were much much stronger on the last. there's some downright horrendous lyrics on here. Mystik Spiral
really?have you seen them live? they are awesome live. when i saw them last year though they ended the main set with a blazing version of 'over and over' then did an encore with 3 chilled out songs. it was kind of a bummer...
