bobbob1313
A very Miami stadium indeed. I believe that is the proposed MLS stadium on the right hand side, though they may not build that. They might put a parking garage there instead and have the MLS team play at the new FIU Football Stadium (Which is going to be beautiful).
Lammycat
Isn't cortizone a steroid?I think cortisone is classified as a steroid, but I'm not sure. Though it's not on the MLB banned substance list and is administered by a doctor (in Schilling's case, at least) at the approval of MLB.

Lammycat
I have never been much of an Andy Pettitte fan, but he went up a notch or two with me today. On the one hand I respect the guy for being contrite. On the other hand, his contrition comes from being forced into a corner to tell the truth because of his trainer's statements in the Mitchell Report of Pettitte's HGH use in 2002. He stated then (Dec.2007) that it was a one-time occurrence. He wasn't telling the truth then as we've now found out after later having to admit to another occasion (2004) that he injected himself with HGH because he was under oath. I think he's done himself some good with damage control by openly answering questions about his usage and being apologetic, though. And he seemed sincere enough today. bjorn_skurj
True. I don't think Andy lied or evaded any more than I would have done if I was in that situation. Also, it is pretty tough to look like more of a dick than Clemens.

Far. Out. It is also laudatory that they are changing their name to the much more alliterative Miami Marlins.

Mr. Kinsley
That was gloriously evil! I can't believe that everyone kept a straight face. I was just glad the guy didn't start to cry or anything. He actually looked like HE was going to laugh during the news conference. Do you think he knew, but didn't want to screw up the joke?
