WOW!!!

This is incredible news!!!

It just made my week!!

Anyone know whether or not more SBD Matrix mixes of the Residency shows are on the way?

I'm hoping to get a Night 1 matrix together--but don't hold your breath.

Almost 200 seeders right now at Dime--go get it!

I won't hold my breath -- but hope is a good thing.

Thanks for all your work with all your recordings and matrixes. Your shows are all A+.

I had no problem getting on DIME this morning. Just hit refresh a couple of times and it pops right up. I imagine they have a lot of disabled users going out all day.

yes! you just have to be persistent. i think it's a 10-minute cycle or 15-minute cycle that automatically purges accounts that have dropped below a certain ratio or have been inactive for a certain period of time. so just hit reload enough and you will get in sooner or later.

and it is an absolute storehouse of amazing live shows. i'm on my third 500 gb external hard drive and going strong (with the odd show from other trackers, including etree, hungercity, shnflac and tradersden)

and, yeah, this is a tremendous recording + great show, so thanks to the upper

and tons of seeders so a very quick dl

I'm trying to convert the FLACs to wav and frontend says I can't do it. Anyone else having this predicament?

Nevermind. The files are .Flac and I guess frontend will only convert them if the extension is .flac (capitalization for those that don't see it).

Yup, had the same issue. FLAC Frontend has a few such quirks (it doesn't handle weird characters very well either).

I had the same issue. Is the solution as simple as retyping "Flac" to "flac"?

so how do I change the file extensions?

If you're using Windows, just right-click the file, choose Rename, and fix the capitalization. In my experience, Windows can be a little weird about such minor changes to filenames, so you may need to add another character temporarily, then go back and remove it (which is a major pain in the butt, but oh well).

Pretty much, yeah.

ok...so I figured out how to show the extensions, and changed the "F" to an "f"

now I get a Runtime error '75 path/file access error

I tried adding a lower case "f" in front of the extension also, but this change made the file unreadable.

...any help would be much obliged.

Is there another FLAC decoder program I can try?

Did you clear FLAC Frontend and drag the updated files to it? Have you specified an output folder? That's all I can think of.

I'm pretty sure there are other decoders, but that's the only one I've ever used.

Thanks for the help, but it's a Vista problem...found this online

"you can try this too:

Also for anything that wont run due to compatibility issues, change the properties to run in XP mode and set yourself as admin. Works for stuff like FLAC Frontend and mkw shn tool, along with many other programs that at first gave me problems."

this is getting spooky. I'm not sure I want to mess with the properties much less not sure how.

I had the same problem on Vista and had to change that "admin" option as pointed out above. Also had to change the "F" to "f." With all that done, it came out fine ... and man is it worth it. Unreal bootleg. Best-sounding I've ever heard, maybe, and I've been collecting bootlegs since the late 80's when my cousin and I would travel to Athens, GA, to pick up stuff on Kiss the Stone and other, lesser known "labels."

This is a must for any Wilco fan. Having been at this show, too, it really captures the energy, etc.

Thanks to the folks who made this recording happen. Remarkable.

You can always try the command-line utilites. Not sure how comfortable you are working from command-line, but it's pretty simple.

You can get them here:

http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourcef...c-1.2.1-win.zip

Basically, just download the zip file and extract to the folder of your choice (maybe like C:\Program Files\flac-cmd or something like that).

Then open a DOS prompt (Start > Run > cmd > Ok), then "cd" (change directory) to the location of the flac files.

For example: cd "C:\lossless\wilco" (or whatever the case maybe)

Then should be a simple as running: flac.exe -d *.flac or in this case: flac.exe -d *.Flac

Two things to note, you may need to specify the name of the output file (blah.wav) and you might also have to add flac.exe to your PATH.
