I'm just warning you of the potential problems of the Prettytown Shantytown. The cops around here are pretty bored and are always looking for stuff to do. Like bust up shantytowns. The cops around here are pretty bored and are always looking for stuff to do. Like bust up shantytowns. Wow you named it Prettytown? Why didn't you name it Wilcotown Shantytown...wouldn't that be more appropriate? Well we will have to have some of the guys distract the coppers and put them off our scent...erm i mean Shantytown. lol!
poppydawn
Wow you named it Prettytown? Why didn't you name it Wilcotown Shantytown...wouldn't that be more appropriate? When we were getting ready to move here, I nicknamed Belleville "Prettytown" and still slip into it occasionally. Especially since it sounds so good with "shantytown". Well we will have to have some of the guys distract the coppers and put them off our scent...erm i mean Shantytown. lol! Public drunkenness won't work. That's encouraged around here. If Analogman was about perhaps he could produce a plan of action....

I've seen some damn good shows at the Emerson - Jackie Greene, Lucinda Williams....they weren't sold out though. Should be amazing w/ a packed room.

Happiechick
does anybody know what the seating will be for this venue? Mayo Civic Centerarena/auditorium/presentation hall. very cool interaction map too! thanks in advance I was about to post a thread on this as well...I grew up in that area and have been to Mayo Civic many times growing up, (I am still in shock that Wilco is playing there!) and I can not figure out where exactly in the civic center they will play. They could probably do any type of arrangement, which is why I am wondering the same thing...it could really go either way, GA or assigned seating. I can tell you that it's huge, and NOT your typical Wilco venue. Also, MCC does not have Wilco listed on their event list yet, did anyone else notice that?
zebra
Any chance they will be going to PHX??I was hoping for them to come here, but it looks like NM is where I'll probably see them again.
agonistes
Anybody know anything about the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs? I'm trying to figure out whether I need to be late for work in order to score good seats with the presale or not, so if it's going to be general admission, that'd be good to know... oceanman
Is the St. Louis venue reserved or GA?I t depends what they do with the balcony seating. We'll find out soon enough.
SoulardBee
I just spoke to someone at The Pageant in St Louis and he seemed (and remember this has yet to be posted on their site yet) pretty sure they were going to do reserved sitting in the balcony. Does MusicToday typically offer those seats on their presale?
