Somnambulist
A reunited Jam would be a cool show to see. Husker Du or even Sugar. Blur. A real Roxy Music reunion (w/ Eno). I 2nd XTC with Terry Chambers, Dave Gregory, Barry Andrews as well as Andy and Colin. Even just a studio record with all of them since they were never on a record all together. PopTodd
I thought I recently saw Shrimp Boat listed as playing somewhere in the Chicagoland area........ You did not.It would have been a bigger deal if they had, and I would have certainly heard of it and been there.
Welsh Rich
I'd love to see American Analog Set... their on indefinite hiatus, so who knows, but I just love their albums and never had a chance to catch them live.

oceanman
The chances of Talking Heads getting back together is as lilkely as Joe Strummer coming back from the dead to do a Clash reunion. I would like to see a Whiskey Town reunion.

jff
KC is doing 3 nights at the Park West this summer. No Bruford though. Tony Levin is back on bass, so that's a plus. He says on his website that recent rehearsals were "OK" but they expect to be in fine form in time for their first shows. I think the lineup wiill be: Fripp, Belew, Levin, and two drummers...Pat Mastelotto and the guy from Porcupine Tree. I'm not sure, but I think Trey Gunn will be absent from this lineup. I saw KC twice on the Thrak tour and once on the Construction of Light tour. The Construction of Light show was significantly weaker than the Thrak shows thanks to the absence of Levin and Bruford. theashtraysays
There are some really awful reunion things going on now. I mean, c'mon, Heart, Journey, and Cheap Trick? That's just sad. Even the Police was a little like "woah". Most of these guys need to just leave it hung up when they call it quits. Guys like Jagger or Springsteen can hang in there and pull it off, but showing back up after 10 or 15 years is just plain scary for most of these guys. Roger Waters was scary. I can't really think of a defunct band that I think would make better music reunited than what they've already done... there are plenty I'd love to see live, but none that I'd expect better new music from necessarily. Hasn't Cheap Trick pretty much been playing pretty consistently for the last 30 years or so? They had a line up change years ago but that didn't stick for too long and I think they're all back playing around every few years. I may be wrong though.

Yes, they have. And not only that, but they've put out a couple of pretty excellent new albums within the last 10 -- incuding Rockford (2006), which ranks right up there with In Color, or at least with Dream Police. (It's a lot better than the latter, actually.)

lamradio
Hum They are all still alive, not doing much.. Why not? They did one show in 2005 for about 3,000 people, and they rocked the roof off of the place.
cryptique
I saw Cheap Trick pretty recently and they were every bit as good as in the old days. Seriously, they haven't lost a step.

ction
The Descendents, please. Well, ALL (the Scott Reynolds version) is playing Riot Fest in Chicago this October. First show by that line-up since '93-ish (and first show at all since 2001 or so). I know it's not Milo, but ALL are still awesome...
