bsr8j
I never would have pegged this guy from this band for being into cocaine, but there you have it. I guess maybe he isn't into cocaine, but he's been arrested for possessing it. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h0JdciA...MJ4qrQD91USK000 Barenaked Ladies singer arrested on drug charges FAYETTEVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — The singer and guitarist for the band Barenaked Ladies has been arrested on drug charges in upstate New York. Police say Steven Page was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Friday in the Syracuse area. Authorities say the arrest occurred at about 2 a.m. after police noticed a suspicious car with its driver's side door left open. They say they found Page and two women in a nearby apartment, along with cocaine and marijuana. Barenaked Ladies' manager Terry McBride confirmed the charge to the Post-Standard of Syracuse but declined to comment further. The singer, released after paying $10,000 bail, is due in court Thursday. Page helped form the band in 1988. The group, know for hits such as "One Week" and "Pinch Me" recently released their debut kids CD "Snacktime."

cryptique
Now we know what he'd do with a million dollars...Post of the day. Sad. Page has had his demons over the years -- but most of them were legal. I'm a pretty big fan of the band, though I haven't thought much of their last couple of albums. Page is one of the best pure singers out there (especially for live shows), though his voice can be an acquired taste.
Wendy
This is pretty bad news for the BNL fans, especially the "Ships & Dippers". His day in court is the day their next installment payment is due for the BNL cruise.
Lammycat
It's a Class C felony. Must've been a decent amount of blow/weed.

lamradio
His kids music career is over, but I'm sure his Rock N Roll career will be rejuvenated doing rippers off of a strippers ass

Sounds like an episode of Reno911

GtrPlyr
Gore Vidal? Vidal Sassoon?I'm hoping it's Gore Vidal personally. Speaking of Steven Page, I used to date a girl that was friends with him and Ed Robertson. I never got to meet them, but they were sitting a few seats away from me at a Prince concert once. While I haven't cared much at all for what they've put out over the past 8 years or so, I fell head over heels in love with them in the early '90's, owned all the albums & piles of bootlegs, and saw them live several times. So there is a loyalty factor there...
