Oil Can Boyd
Well not actually. Actually, I'm just tearing through playlists on my PC, and came to the Star demos that I just recently found on Tanya Donnelly's website.  Star Demos Had a really nice moment just now, listening to White Belly. Holy crap, but that one is raw, and in a good way. Really love how that sounds.I really like those Star demos. As for me, I'm listening to this for the first time in years. Maybe it's the references in the lyrics, but it seems sort of dated.
uncool2pillow
Many of the lyrics are dated, as is Lou's mullet, but it is almost 20 years old now. It is a tremendous album, though. I love the sound of the guitars on it.
Lammycat
I was supposed to see Todd at the Folks Fest today in Lyons, CO. Sold my tix on Wed. due to other circumstances. It's been absolutely pouring rain here for the past two days and I'm glad I sold the tix. Still, no Todd.... He's got a new one, Peace Queer, coming out in Oct., too!  NP: GD Roanoke, VA 7.27.

muller
Â this kinda makes up for the steaming pile of crap that the last rilo kiley was. not made my mind up if its better than rabbit fur coat, but its a solid return for sure. very focused - and some GREAT production. also, carpet baggers with elvis costello rules.
