No republicans really care about this country.

Republicans have never used 911 to get what they want from sheep.

Katrina is not a national disgrace.

It's got to be one extreme or the other apparently.

kwall does this almost 100% of the time, and bobbob copies him part of the time. i wonder why you don't object then.

Is English your native language? I'm a moron.

I get the feeling you run every post through Babblefish and are losing huge chunks in the process.

No, according to King what's his name, I'm just high, and as you say, a moron.

I just agree with the people who say republicans have done a fine job with this country for the past 8 years, and hopefully the next 4-8. Go Palin/Bush/McCain.

Because my political beliefs are closer to theirs. I'm a hypocrite.

Thank IHVH Winston Churchill isn't alive anymore, or he might rethink the following: "Many forms of Government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."

ultimately, i think he's right, though no doubt it sometimes depends on just what our democratic government is doing.

I bet - you have to.

Yes. I have recalled a memory of the dude at the post office telling me I should enlist instead of filling out the wussy little form.

in case anyone still believes that Obama is going to raise their taxes...

this chart is effective because it give proportional space for each income bracket (the tiny slivers at the top are the ultra wealthy who will indeed have their taxes raised). the majority of us will see lower taxes under Obama than McCain.

The american people and it's government are not the same fucking thing. God damn.

I'm neither crazy nor stoned, but what ever happened to "of the people, by the people, for the people"? That was a nice sentiment.

totally off topic, but against my better judgment i saw an absolutely ridiculous movie last night out of desperation. it had only one good line. older mother and grown daughter met in a restaurant for lunch. the mother said "i know you don't drink in the afternoon, but you will, so why not start now."

Which movie was that?

Considering the deficit has grown $600 billion under Bush (from a surplus), the national debt is at $10 trillion, and McBush sees no reason to end our $2 billion/week criminal action in Iraq, we're going to have to get money from somewhere. I personally think the top 2% has had their free ride.
