fatheadfred
What do either of those things have to do with each other? I love Wilco because I love their music and I think they are the best band out there right now. I also love The National and I like Pearl Jam and The Decemberists, etc., etc. (I can't think of any other bands that have done benefits off the top of my head). It's a pretty ridiculous assertion to make, as if the two were mutually exclusive. Yeah, this is still weird to me. How do you 'get' Wilco and Pearl Jam and still not see clearly? I agree both campaigns run a little b.s. but we expect that with politics. However, the total lack of ability to formulate a plan for the future or even stay afloat in the future is becoming painfully evident in the Rep. campaign.

But then again, I really don't understand much about this country. I've usually been on the other side of popular opinion.

Sweet Papa Crimbo
Yeah, this is still weird to me. How do you 'get' Wilco and Pearl Jam and still not see clearly? Ahhh...the arrogance of youth. Allow people the space do believe, listen to, eat, screw, worship, read what they will. It won't diminish you to accept that people are different from you. kwall
Somehow, in my gut (and I rely on my gut, not my brain, the gut doesn't lie) I find it hard to believe that you are a Wilco fan. Why would you support a band that is clearly endorsing Obama? Yeah, this is still weird to me. How do you 'get' Wilco and Pearl Jam and still not see clearly? i really hope tweedy doesn't feel this way. that would be seriously disappointing.
