HungryHippo
They were intentionally left out because they would make all the others look bad.yea, everyone would leave the inauguration after Wilco performs. this would not look good for Obama.
gogo
There are 10 official inaugural balls including a"Youth Ball" for people 18-35. The line up for that has not been released yet. I'll bet Wilco will be there. It only costs half as much to get in as it does for the other balls and the performances last until 2:30 AMI'll bet they won't be there. I love Wilco (and I love the youngsters on this board), but I really don't see them as being the choice of Youth Ball attendees, 18-35.

KevinG
You know I have always felt the Barack Wilco connection was a bit idealized or a fantasy around here. Do y'all honestly believe that Barack could name 5 Wilco songs? I would bet that the list here closely represents Barack's musical taste. Obama is like a mirror which is his power and his curse. He reflects the our idealized self. We all love Wilco we think he loves Wilco. But ask yourself does he really?
