anthony
... the pre-Krautrock Spiders ...My favorite non-canonical Wilco song; but alas, does not meet criteria (as far as I know).
BigWheeledWagon
Old Maid was released on the 2003 compilation, You Can Never Go Fast Enough. Totally fair game. I thought it was out there somewhere but couldn't remember where and decided I had just dreamed it up -- thanks. Too bad there's not an official recording of pre-Krautrock spiders, too (not that I have anything against the version of Spiders on AGIB) -- I would put that ahead of Old Maid. mpolak21
I've got something that I thought was the demos Bob Dylan's 49th BeardKamera X 2Mag Called SunsetWoodgrain humm can't remember what else. I think you have the More Like The Moon EP there, it was a free six song EP the band released on their website in 2003, you could download it for free when you had YHF in your computer's disc drive. There are some overlapping tracks on the engineer and regular demo set, but I think I remember reading that the majority of the engineer demos are the versions of the songs the band brought in to mix at CRC. The regular demos are earlier versions of the tunes in rougher-- though not necessarily lesser-- form. --Mike
