Dude
Another great movie by the madcap genius known as Terry Gilliam. That logo alone creeps me out.
watch me fall
I heard someone turns into a dinosaur in that. Dinosaurs don't really creep me out. However, those sleestack(Sp?) things on Land of the Lost, do.
Winston Legthigh
This movie: http://www.criterion.com/films/780 freaked the hell out of me when I was a kid. I saw it on TV when I was very young, but my memory only retained a couple moments - I had no idea how to go about finding out what film it was.Last year, I stumbled upon a description of the criterion release, and it seemed familiar, so I followed my hunch and rented it. It definitely was the film that freaked me out. The movie is laughable now, but it was a strange sensation to view it again after so many years. It definitely sparked my memories - I ended up being familiar with most of the movie.
Mr. Kinsley
I'll second the nomination for Seven. My then-girlfriend, now-wife and I couldn't get off the sofa to take the tape out of the VCR. We sat there, huddled together for about 5 minutes after it ended, arguing about who would move first. Also, it wasnt' a movie, but I remember TV ads for Burlington from when I was a kid that had really loud percussion with the green Burlington logo coming towards you along to the drum beat. Whenever that came on I had to run and hide behind a chair. It totally freaked me out.

Winston Legthigh
Was that the one that had King Kong in it playing some sort of weird gladiator monkey? No - the story's about two couples on a double date picnic - they discover an old crusty book (necronomicon), and they end up summoning some claymation monsters, and the park ranger gets all satyr on their asses. I think whatshisnuts from WKRP in Cincinnati is in it.
sureshot
Anything by Lynch goes without saying. Of course Eraserhead which has been already mentioned, and Mullhollad Drive is up there as well. This scene still gives me the creeps
sureshot
Definitely creepy; maybe disturbing is a better word: Documentary filmmakers André and Rémy have found an ideal subject in Ben. He is witty, sophisticated, intelligent, well liked—and a serial killer. As André and Rémy document Ben’s routines, they become increasingly entwined in his vicious program, sacrificing their objectivity and their morality. Controversial winner of the International Critics’ Prize at the 1992 Cannes Film Festival, Man Bites Dog stunned audiences worldwide with its unflinching imagery and biting satire of media violence. This is a great essay on the film Its actually a very funny if you're into dark humor/satire. Just be forewarned there are some incredibly graphic scenes...a couple were even hard for me to watch, and Ive seen a lot.

I laughed more at this film than just about any mainstream comedy. But I think thats the brilliance of it; you find yourself becoming complacent with all the violence. And it really does speak to how we've been desensitized to all these things..that we can continue watching this brutal stuff, mainly because Remy and the filmakers are such likable guys. Cinema! Cinema!
