i'm only sleeping
Yes, my wife is beginning to be fed up of hearing Wilco everywhere
Sir Stewart
Lately I think about Wilco a hell of a lot more than I listen to them. This may be even less healthy.
rwilson580
My kids think it's hilarious. That I'm as infatuated with this band as they once were Blink-182 and Dave Matthews. I dread the day they hear the term "dad rock." I'll never hear the end of it.
MunkyKayse
I don't have a spouse as of yet, but I have gotten comments for always playing Wilco in my car. Although these people cannot distinguish between Wilco and Loose Fur, so what do they know?
Moss
She's just happy when I'm not playing Grateful Dead.
AJ673
He told me yesterday that if he hears me play Wilco much longer I might turn him off of them altogether. It's his fault, he introduced me to them!
Guest Alan
No, I go on my wilco kicks but there is far too much music out there to get too bogged down by any one band.
anthony
She used to be "meh" when it comes to Wilco. She would often complain about the "noise". Then we saw them live (Pomona show) and now she has become a huge fan. Totally won over by their live show. Now she has Wilco on repeat on her iPod. Go figure... mahinty
I don't know about my wife, but I think I listen to wilco too much.
sonicshoulder
spouse think they listen to Wilco TOO MUCH?My 3.5 year old requests "side with the seeds" immediately when she gets in the car from the babysitter everyday, does this qualify me?
isadorah
my guy mocks me on a regular basis about teh wilco. he seems to be turning it into a sport.

barbkm
No spouse or boyfriend, but my friends and famliy do mock me about being a bit of a stalker. My buddy Jim keeps referring to Jeff as that honeless guy. Whatever -- they bring me magazines that feature the boys, so that's cool. And I've two co-workers who purchased W(TA) based on me, so I'm spreading the word! If I had a man in my life, maybe I would think aboot listen to, or talk about Wilco less. But, it makes me happy, so fuck em!
radiatortunes
I have the best husband in the world! We were out walking on the weekend, talking about work, colleagues, etc. And regarding one of mine, out of the blue he blurts out, "short on long-term goals." With a big grin on his face he proudly says, "I know what you listen to. I know all of your favorite Wilco songs!"
Sonny
I've been a fan of Wilco for 9 yrs but just discovered this site. Anyway, I don't want my husband to think I'm obsessed so I only told him about one of the two dreams I had about Wilco this past week & my son teases me about the crush he thinks I have on Tweedy. sweetheart-mine
my husband is sick to death of jeff tweedy, but he's smart enough to say so only once every couple of months, and besides, he knows i can't help it.
RaspberryJam
My husband likes them as much as me, is always game for rock tourism too! Lucky me!
isadorah
hmmmmm...i am starting to think my love for teh wilco isn't nearly as over the top as initially thought or mocked about.
bleedorange
I'll stop with the Wilco when he stops watching football. Fortunately, my wife and I both love Wilco and football.
Wild Frank
My wife will let me listen to anything as long as its not Tom Waits!! My youngest son (3yr old)loves a bit of Wilco and is forever shouting "Wilco we love you baby"!! Strangly, both my young boys love Tom Waits and will do 'Tom Waits' dancing when I put on 'Bone Machine' or 'Real Gone'.
Mr. Kinsley
I've been a fan of Wilco for 9 yrs but just discovered this site. Anyway, I don't want my husband to think I'm obsessed so I only told him about one of the two dreams I had about Wilco this past week & my son teases me about the crush he thinks I have on Tweedy. Funny, my wife thinks I have a crush on Jeff, too! Whenever she hears a song she doesn't like (especially with any sort of feedback or noise) she asks, "Is this Wilco?"I think she's starting to lose patience with me over this, because both the kids and HER MOM are now listening to W(TA). She's now alone on her little non-Wilco island and not digging it.
c.lo
this is me, only difference, replace husband with family and friends. and you know what, i could care less what anybody thinks. my friends do too. They play poker, video games, go to yoga, garden, whatever. I'm into music. It's my thing, my hobby, what makes me happy. I'm not ashamed.
Robby
I had laproscopic surgery on my knee today and while other will be outside enjoying the three day weekend, I'll be inside hepped up on VicodinSo, based on this thread and that heard Jeff likes cross-word puzzles, I thought I might try a simple,amatuer-hand at designing a Wilco T-Shirt. Nothing fancy, but I thought this might be a great design for the non-wilco lover to purchase for their spouse. I think I will print this out on one of those iron-on paper sheets and steam it on and old shirt. Attached is a couple examples in some different fonts.
