Guest Jules
Don't forget adding a bunch of viewers to Jay Leno's primetime premiere.Yeah, good timing for Leno. He drew 17mil or something like that. I bet it dropped off last night. The show is horrible.
lamradio
Don't forget adding a bunch of viewers to Jay Leno's primetime premiere. And don't forget the South Park episode: It was on last night.. I watched it.
Good Old Neon
I haven't really been following the story, but are people upset that the President used the term "jackass"? Well, it’s controversial because the name “Jack” was a very popular, common name amongst those who valiantly fought against the Nazis in the 2nd world war, and so the term “Jack-ass” suggests that all Jacks are asses, and therefore, their service to the country is not appreciated by a socialist such as the likes of Obama, so in that sense, yes, people are fucking outraged – as they should be. He could have said, “he’s a Mohammadass”, but he didn’t, because he’s Muslim, and like a cancer, or a really bad case of the crotch-rot, he wants to destroy America from the inside. Sweet Papa Crimbo
Doesnt this whole thing just end up selling a ton more records for both the victim (Swift) and the aforementioned jackass (West)? It was probably a set up.
watch me fall
And don't forget the South Park episode: It was on last night.. I watched it. Oh man, I wish I would've known that episode was on!
Sir Stewart
It was probably a set up. This is what I assume, too. Kanye probably gets paid by MTV to do this.
Guest Speed Racer
Kanye probably gets paid by MTV to do this. Or a bottle of liquor and the promise that no one will stop him. The man doesn't need much prompting, just few obstacles.

JUDE
Whats the deal on Kanye and the Nazca lines?
lamradio
This is what I assume, too. Kanye probably gets paid by MTV to do this. Possibly, but I personally believe he's just a douchebag. He thinks he can get away with anything because he's a "genius".. Just watch that South Park episode.. That's how he is in real life.
LouieB
A Kanye and Swift duet is in order I think. Fans of both could get their rocks off. LouieB

gogo
Don't forget adding a bunch of viewers to Jay Leno's primetime premiere.Plus, adding to Beyonce's golden-girl routine when she pulls the "class act" of letting Taylor Swift speak later on in the show. It's a win-win-win-win!

LouieB
Maybe Barack should get Kanye and Taylor Swift together for a beer at the White House. That would solve this whole thing.... LouieB

calvino
Except Taylor's not 21. Yeah, plus I think Kanye needs to stay away from the sauce. At least for a little while. Perhaps Barack can have a beer, the other two can have a Diet Coke (or which ever corporate drink they represent, via commercials.)

jff
Doesnt this whole thing just end up selling a ton more records for both the victim (Swift) and the aforementioned jackass (West)? And Beyonce for being so gracious as to hand her speech time over to Swift. I could be wrong, but the first thing that popped into my mind after Beyonce's win/Swift's do-over was that it was an ingenious publicity coup organized between all three camps. Expect it to keep happening.
gogo
Scooped ya! Plus, adding to Beyonce's golden-girl routine when she pulls the "class act" of letting Taylor Swift speak later on in the show. It's a win-win-win-win! Although, I wonder if Taylor Swift's "people" would have set this up without her knowledge. She was managing a pretty convincing stunned-and-humiliated look, which I don't think she could have pulled off had she known it was going to happen. And are we adding Obama to this conspiracy, too? He gets the cred of calling out Kanye as a jackass, plus the deniability of it being off the record...

Guest Speed Racer
And are we adding Obama to this conspiracy, too? He gets the cred of calling out Kanye as a jackass, plus the deniability of it being off the record... A letter to the editor applauding Obama's remark was the Minneapolis Star Tribune letter of the day, primarily citing how "mostly urban" men look to rappers for guidance. The comments section on the website is aflame arguing whether the good ol' boy ethos of country is more damaging to young males than rap... And yes, Taylor could not have pulled that off had she been informed. I wondered how Kanye got the mic from her so easily (the video I watched didn't show how that transpired), but everything I've seen of her since gives me the impression that her thought must of been a very gracious, "Why wouldn't I give him the mic?" It all seems to me about as spontaneous as a nipple at a football game.

Expect it to keep happening. Why would any of those three need added publicity? Their record sales are through the roof, plus they are mentioned on every gossip site/mag (yes, I do read these..guilty pleasure) constantly.
