Chinese Apple
Solo shows and Pronto or Autumn Defense count, too. Also, shows where Wilco members join other bands to form a super-group like 7 Worlds Collide and the Mark Mulcahy Benefit, or festivals, etc. Feel free to list the venues... Fact is this is every show that was played south of Lake Okeechobee for any member of Wilco (at least in public). Come on boys, schedule some dates in sunny South Florida. EDIT: Thanks to the band (and management) for scheduling down here in South Florida....Like I told you guys, my wife has offered to have the band over for dinner when you are down here. See can make a great sauce and meatballs. SUITES

mountain bed
Chinese Apple, maybe the thread title should read "Hey bbop - how many Wilco shows have you been to?", cause that's something I'd really be interested in knowing. Or, maybe "how many Wilco shows have you NOT been to?". I keed, bbop. I think I've seen around a baker's dozen since '02.

Probably either the Toronto or Chicago shows. Jeff:The Vic, February 14, 2009Calvin Theatre, Northampton, MA, March 27, 2009 (w/ Pronto) Last year I saw Nels play with the Singers in New York, Chicago, Indianapolis, Ann Arbor, Montreal, Columbia, Nashville, Knoxville, and Asheville. I also saw him play with Carla Bozulich twice--once with her band Evangelista, then the next night as their duo Scarnella--with Norton Wisdom, and with the Scott Amendola Band, and I've seen him once this year playing solo. The first one was probably my favorite of the four, they were great in Oct. 2007 but that venue (Duquesne University's basketball gym) wasn't that great, and our seats were at a pretty weird angle. --Mike

Mr. Kinsley
While in line for a show in '04, I asked someone whom I knew had travelled to see multiple shows on that tour how many Wilco concerts she'd been to. She looked at me rather puzzled and asked, "You mean... on this tour, or...?" In other words, I think she'd seen more Wilco shows that Jeff! As for me, I'm at a measly 6.
