PopTodd
Is the kind of blue remaster worth it? I love that cd.... Not in the way of bonus material, but the sound is markedly better. And, of course, you get to hear the music in the CORRECT key!
tinnitus photography
i won't be able to go w/ a month-by-month rundown...i probably bought 150LPs and 30-40 cds. that's just a wild guess.
jff
How do you keep track like that? I don't even know where to begin. I bought $20 worth of 25 cent records early in the year. Got a ton of real gems that I've been meaning to check out...Pentangle, Country Joe & the Fish, Laura Nyro, Richie Havens, a few good jazz LPs (Lee Morgan at the Lighthouse, Modern Jazz Quartet), etc. My most recent purchase is Mary Timony's "Golden Dove" (which complete's my Mary Timony solo discography). Hopefully that'll show up in the mail today.

I didn't think that I bought even close to that many albums this year.

Moss
I have bought at least 50 CD's this year but I'm not organized enough to keep track. What a great idea though. I would probably find out I'm spending way more money than I think I am. I will see if I can get a list together.
Marijn
Great list Marjin! REM and Travis especially...how are the REM DVD Audio discs? To be honest, I bought them because they were only € 6,99 and I was tempted by the artwork and the bonus documentaries. I have yet to compare the dvd's with my old cd's. The remastered Deluxe-version of Reckoning sounds impressive though!

brianjeremy
Too much to count! We need to make this an on-going thread, you know, cumulative as we purchase them. The Lou Barlow board I post at does this. It's nice to know what everybody's into and such...
LouieB
Is the kind of blue remaster worth it? I love that cd....Unless you bought a copy very early on, you may already own the remaster. It has been around for many years. If not do buy it as pointed out, some of the tunes have now been corrected (not all were wrong) and all tunes are titled correctly (this was also not true on the LP.) Meanwhile I can't imagine trying to figure out what I bought this year; I can barely rememeber what I bought last week. LouieB

Where's the mutual support? Oh, I did purchase the new Wilco album, actually. But it was a gift for my wife, so I forgot to include it on my purchase thread.
