Moss
I am subtly hinting that you may not have to look for this one tonight if you check something in a couple of hours, if you catch my drift... double up
brianjeremy
I am really really loving it as well. The one thing that always used to put me off about BSS records is how muddy they mixed them (that is what happens when you put 20 people on each song though), but like Solace said the production and sounds they got for the record are great. I think it's going to be a really really big record. I agree with the production comments. It's sounds very crisp to me. I listened to it in passing twice now but I still like their last one more, but it grew on me and I'm sure this one will too. NP: Smashing Pumpkins - Machina II

Synthesizer Patel
i just listened to that dylan album a few nights ago. i really like it. yeah, it's great. i really wish they'd do a bootleg series from that period. there are loads of songs unreleased, even if most of them are covers. opsopcopolis
Just bought this in preparation for the show in Boston in June. Its a little different and weird at points, but I'm lovin' it.
solace
I am loving this record. besides 1-2 songs, ditto. not as great as Sound of Silver and certainly borrows strongly from Bowie, Iggy Pop, etc. in spots, but if it's truly the last LCD Soundsystem album, it's not a bad one to go out on. That album cover... I'm hoping to see him on this tour, too. I still regret missing my last chance, which was ten years ago. And the chance before that, which was his tour with SRV. Gobias Industries
besides 1-2 songs, ditto. not as great as Sound of Silver and certainly borrows strongly from Bowie, Iggy Pop, etc. in spots, but if it's truly the last LCD Soundsystem album, it's not a bad one to go out on. I kinda think it's just as good if not better, actually. I love how "Drunk Girls" rips off of the Velvet's "White Light/White Heat," "All I Want" totally takes Bowie's "Heroes," and "Somebody's Calling Me" homages Iggy's "Nightclubbing." That's like, three of my favorite dudes ever, and each is a perfect tribute, because doubtlessly James Murphy listened to all those records way too much as a kid or something. My only minor complaint is that "Pow Pow" cooks a little too slowly (but most LCD Soundsystem tracks cook slowly, just this one a little too slow), but really, this is a fantastic record. Given that I didn't think Sound of Silver could be topped ("All My Friends" is probably my favorite song from the last, like, 20 years), the new one is phenomenal (plus, "All I Want" matches "All My Friends" in awesomeness). and NP after gushing about it! just my opinion, obviously.
