Ghost of Electricity
So left to only ten I had to draw the line somewhere, but I would've liked to include others, for example "Sunken Treasure" which gets noisy but doesn't quite break out of the constraints of rhythm or key, which is why it got the axe. There are a couple other examples of things which didn't make the cut, I know, mention them if you like.

Excitable Boy
That's a no brainer! Poor Places.
theashtraysays
That's a no brainer! Poor Places.+1 I don't consider the outtro to Reservations as noise.
Beltmann
I went into the booth planning to vote for "Poor Places," but once I was in there I second-guessed myself and ended up pulling the lever for "Handshake Drugs." "Poor Places" is perhaps more sonically adventurous, but there's something about the expressionism of "Handshake Drugs"--a perfect abstract representation of the kind of jolting pain and suffering that requires, um, handshake drugs--that really resonates with me. a-me-with-a-you
I actually never really appreciated the outro to "Handshake Drugs". I don't think it adds much to the song. Â I think the best use of a song bursting out of it's chords would probably be VC, Poor Places or even IATTBYH but I'm not gonna go for the obvious ones b/c I have a soft spot for the outro of LTYT. Kevan
The things, the 'noise', going on underneath Jeff and Glenn on Radio Cure blow my mind every time. Thats my #1.

Atticus
live I'd probably pick via chicago, so I pooted for that, but poor places is pretty much a tie.

English St
VC live. Would love to hear a studio version of the live performance, without people screaming to ruin the silent bits.
remphish1
Poor Places for me! I love that outro..one of my favorite Wilco Moments especially live!
JMal
I think "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" has some great sounds in the "noise" section but I think they most effectively use the noise in "Via" so I picked that!
AJ673
Where's "Radio Cure"?
TCP
I picked I Am Trying To Break Your Heart. It gets me every time it ends up then that last little bit of noise comes in for a split second.
