2010 is first year without a Chicago show

from the recordings i've heard, they seem to be in a better mood when they're in a diffrent place for a change.

 

for example, i'd rather travel 20 minutes to visit a friend, rather than go to my next door neighbour's house

 

ps: why havent they played in Australia since May?

I agree, this is ridiculous. Any half witted Wilco fan living in Chicago had to leave city limits in order to see them this year. Maybe if I submit my travel expenses to Wilco management, they would reimburse half.

They should do a secret show in Chicago. I dont live there, so I wouldnt get to see it, but that would be sweet. Find a small local club (100 capacity), pay all the bands on the bill a couple hundred bucks for their troubles, and rock out for the night.

MMJ just announced a show here in Louisville, their hometown, it will be their first in over 2 years.
