kaydub
Loving It! Loved Midnight too though! You guys are soo right about his live show. Eventhough, I did prefer the show when it was just him and Cory compared to seeing him with a drummer, standup bass, pedal guitar, etc. The duo just seemed more gritty to me. Just liked the arrangements better with just him and mandolin or banjo. On the new one, alot of the guitar stuff is Isbell, right??
augurus
Can someone explain to me why this album so boring, even in comparison to their previous mediocre album?I guess it really is up to me now... EDIT:Dungen - Skit I Allt

Oil Can Boyd
Me too. I usually don't go back past 69 Love Songs in their catalog so I sometimes forget how good that early stuff is.

Shakespeare In The Alley
Streaming on NPR. Sounds great. The Roots are further proving themselves as one of the tightest bands out there in any genre. I haven't listened to much by John Legend, but he holds his own here. It's worth checking this album out for their cover of I Can't Write Left Handed alone. Great performance.
