Saw Josh Ritter play solo last night. You'd be hard pressed to find a performer having a better time on stage than Josh. The guy is all smiles. Also Dan Blakeslee opened, which was fun.

Dan is a veteran of the local Cambride music scene. He is always a welcome guest on any stage around there.

Glad to hear this. He's opening for Jason Isbell when I see him in October. I've always enjoyed what I've heard, but couldn't name one song.

Belly!

They're back together?  I saw them in their heyday, and it was fun.  The songs on their first album were supposed to be the second Breeders album, but Tonya left the band before that could happen.

Tonight I'll be seeing W8ting 4 UFOs

Yes, they got back together for a bit.  They played some shows in the UK last month and now they are playing some US shows.  They were great.  They played some new songs mixed in with a bunch of their original stuff.  Lots of fun, lots of energy.

Tanya has talked about the first album before.  As you said, it was supposed to be the Breeders' next album but apparently Kim Deal had to commit to an extensive Pixies tour at the time so Tanya just put a band together as Belly.

And I'm going again tonight!

Yeah, he was in audience, Bonnie gave him a shout out.

Good show. Was hoping for some collaboration but no. Richard joined her on one song only.
