-seven
I think he's one of the guys that was interviewed in the program from the 2009 baseball fields tour. He did mention that it was his favorite song...and it certainly shows! We really need a shirtless smiley with those moves and the cowbell. Until then it will be this one
wilcolovesme
Thank you for the video! We saw the cowbell guy for the first time at Jazzfest where they appropriately closed the show with Hoodoo. Love it!
-seven
I must say the band does not seem as amused by this as I was.
Sweet Papa Crimbo
I must say the band does not seem as amused by this as I was. That's part of the inherent humor in the bit. Nobody acknowledges the insanity of the moment...
worldrecordplayer
Tweedy's all smiles during the duel. Definitely one of the very many highlights. Right up there with California Stars.
pmancini100
haha, definitely a good closer
Hummingbird
Loved this! Thanks for sharing!!! That man can MOVE!
-seven
The steamy fog adds to it too
mooney
I agree that this ripper was a huge highlight...so fun. And california stars with Woody's granddaughter was sort of tear inducing for me (in my old sappy way that i seem to have now) I couldn't go last year, so this was my first. What a joyous experience. The rain was a challenge at times (stayed at Solid Ground campsite), but who cares. I don't even think about the rain when I think back on the memory of the experience. So well run. Family friendly, yet still experimental/avant gard, and envelop pushing. That's a tough thing to pull off!
Sandoz
Here are a few of my favorite items; never mind they are all food-focused. Great music and food are requirements to a good life, right? 1. Arrived on Day #1 to be handed free bags of Garrett's popcorn (caramel & cheddar mix) from Chicago. OH MY! 2. Beer selection was really great this year (Goose Island and Lagunitas). I know of course someone will complain that there wasn't enough yadda yadda but you can't please everyone 3. The catfish po boys at that fodo cart on Joe's Field 4. Samosaman. And his sweet potato fries
Preferred B
4. Samosaman. And his sweet potato friesJudy, we were taking pictures after Levon Sunday evening when Samosaman came by and took our picture too!
Tommy74
Sara and Johnny playing an acoustic set, including Airline To Heaven, on the gallows exhibit was one of my favorite moments.
thejokeexplained
One highlight for me was watching Nels and Thruston abuse their guitars for an hour while i was leaning on the stage. Structured chaos is the only way i can describe what i saw and heard. I did Tape it, and it was very soothing on the flight home, got me in a meditation state.
thejokeexplained
Another one of my favorite things about Solid Sound is the lack of advertising and sponsorship in and around MassMoca. A rarity in this day in age of commercialism. Especially in the festival environment. There was zero! Good for you Wilco! "Sponsored by nobody!"

H.Stone
Highlights, in no particular order: * the crowd taking over Radio Cure when the PA cut out * Samosaman - "We love it!!" * All Utopias Fell * I Got You/I Got You -- I never thought I'd see that * Sunday night antics
tinnitus photography
* Sunday night antics i didn't see that on the program schedule.
u2roolz
Not having to take a shit in the dungeon (MoCa downstairs bathroom). Seriously, that place was like 100 degrees. It was nice to hide out in for the rain, but that's about it.
