choo-choo-charlie
Leroy left on his own accord. He probably was tired of the relentless touring and wanted to adopt a more low-key lifestyle and career, hence leaving Wilco and entering into a career in theatre...I think. Amicable departure nonetheless. I think.
ih8music
three equally important ones: If you could only listen to one album for the next year, what would you pick & why? What recording artist/songwriter from the past or present would you most like to meet? Would you play at my 40th birthday party in a couple months? Pretty please? Bart
I'd beg him to stop writting songs in alternate/non-standard tunings. I've got nothing against those songs, but I'm not retuning my guitar to play one song! I hate tuning!!

PopTodd
How so? I'm just curious. Well, music has always been really important to me.This show changed the role it played in my life in a couple of important ways. • First, and most-importantly: I was a struggling guitar player, desperately wanting to be a lead guitar Clapton/Santana kinda guy. I was getting ready to throw in the towel when I went to the show. But the band turned me on to the fact that THE SONG was the thing. And, from that moment on, I began focusing more on songwriting than learning to shred or whatever. • Secondly: They opened my eyes to how cool country music could be. Since then, songwriting has been a big part of my life. And, country music found a large spot in my listening. So yeah, that show changed my life.
Real Rival
Walken, Kamera, Outtasite, etc Why the misspellings, Jeff? Is it some sort of clever marketing scheme like spelling crazy with a K? Is it a quiet rebellion against the banality of the English language?
