willywoody
I've read that Speak Into The Rose will be released as a 10" ep on Black Friday Record Store Day event. I don't have any more detail, though, or any other confirmation. http://new-vinyl.blogspot.com/2011/10/record-store-day-presents-black-friday.html

jcroach
Curious to see what the b-side might be.
willywoody
Curious to see what the b-side might be. I wonder if it may be a longer edit with a and b parts. Just wishin' though.
daranih
Its a 10" so it should be 4 tracks
Shakespeare In The Alley
It's probably just the TWL bonus disc then. Which is kinda lame.
choo-choo-charlie
It's probably just the TWL bonus disc then. Which is kinda lame. A little early to dismiss it as lame if a tracklisting hasn't been released yet, don't ya think?
Shakespeare In The Alley
Certainly. I'm only dismissing it as lame if it is actually the TWL bonus disc, and that's only because I already own that. Since those songs aren't on vinyl yet, it's a pretty cool promotion for some people. If it's somehow a few tracks we don't already have, then that's awesome.
choo-choo-charlie
Very well then! I too own it. I wouldn't mind someday (probably not soon) hearing the dozens of other songs they didn't use for The Whole Love, with all the two-album talk that was happening... willywoody
Savvy record execs that they are now, what with a bonus song on the lp that's not on the bonus cd, I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't an unreleased song or two on it so us obsessives will purchase it. LaughingDog
Hope they're cooler than the Black Moon Alt Version, I'm fairly sure they will be.
sonicshoulder
I'll take mid-bar on vinyl.
choo-choo-charlie
Hope they're cooler than the Black Moon Alt Version, I'm fairly sure they will be. My thought as well. The differences in the (alt) Black Moon are so subtle. Maybe the (alt) Art of Almost will be that Sade-slow-jam take they talked about in some interviews. I'll take mid-bar on vinyl. Me too. Great tune.

Autumnteeth
I don't remember where I saw this. NPR chat, some article, not sure. What I want to hear is the alt version of Art of Almost. It had a name, All of Almost, and I remember Jeff saying they forgot to finish it when they broke off into Art of Almost. Wish there was room on a 10" for this missing puzzle piece. barnyard pimp
I want to hear the Crazy Horse version of "Art of Almost"!

A Radio Cure
I wonder if the demo version of I Might will feature the grunting pre-lyrics vocals.
i'm only sleeping
Hope they're cooler than the Black Moon Alt Version, I'm fairly sure they will be.My guess is that they thought 'hey, we'll cannot play this with the strings arrangement, let's include it without strings as a bonus so that the kids hear how it will sound in shows'
