The boys killed it... Great time... Some lady got on stage and starting dancing next to the band and after the song Jeff said "that hasn't happened since the 90s"... After nels solo on Germany, Jeff said that the solo wasn't included in the price of admission and took his hat off to pass it around collecting money... Funny... Great show and fun to see Star Wars tunes mixed into set list

Such a great set in a great place.  Never more excited to hear IATTBYH when I did.  Danced my ass off for the duration.  Too groggy to make much sense but Spiders was insane, loved the funky Dawned on Me & Cali Stars was sublime.  On to Philly, maybe I'll have more later.

Oh yeah, Courtney absolutely killed it, I especially lost my shit for her first live New Speedway Boogie.

I spent a little time on the mountain, I spent a little time on the hill

Things went down that we don't understand, but I think in time we will.

It was a perfect, rocking, greatest hits set for a festival. I was with 8 people, 4 hadn't seen Wilco before, and 3 of those came back as big fans. I was worried when the first 3 songs were from SW. After Via Chicago, one friend turned to me and said, "I'm so confused." I said, I know. Awesome, isn't it?"

And the severe thunderstorms predicted never showed!

Great day at Hunter and a great Wilco set. Funny after the back and forth in the after show threat on 6/1 with the complainer about full Star Wars that it dropped out at the very next gig. The tunes worked well mixed in to the set. Not too much banter given the tight festival set schedule from 8:30 to just after 10:15 pm. The road/security team caught off guard by the woman who danced her way from backstage to next to John before being escorted off and out. California Stars was super fun with Jason and i lost count of the times Jeff started back toward the mic and backing off realizing that Nels and Jason were nowhere near done yet. You can see that in the YouTube of the tune i just posted, sorry about the chirping talkers. Jeff seemed to be sporting two or three new blonde electric guitars including one used on the Late Greats where he usually uses the White one. Passed Glenn in the afternoon taking the chairlift up as we were coming down. Always a very well run festival. Psyched for the full Wilco treatment tonight in Philly !

Yeah, I was the complainer about Star Wars in its entirety but, you know what, it was the best set I've seen from them in the past year. Great mix of old and new and I prefer the incorporation of new songs into the set mix. Courtney Barnett was a force of nature, Jason Isbell was on fire and I Govt Mule closed the night impressively. Cheers.

I wasn't there, but fwiw, I wouldn't necessarily call it a "change in format" as much as another option for a festival Star Wars set. For the record, they have done the abridged SW at least at one other festival but I'm glad that this particular set appeased you. B)

Live streaming was awesome!!! I saw my first show of the tour on my flat screen with great sound. No way I could go to NY, but I sat in AZ and enjoyed the show. Sorry to have missed earlier acts but wilco and warren Haynes/govt mule were great!!!! Cool to see Nels come out for rebel rebel!!

Jason Isbell said he watched her set and knew she was good "but that was some inspirational sh*t".

As Mr. Tinnitus Photography put it in his Boston Calling review of Courtney's set: "Six strings and a cloud of dust." Pretty perfect right there.
