I'm using a OGSI-15 oxygen generator, a GTT Lynx with 15 outer/7 inner jets, Chili Pepper toolbox kiln, and Bearfoot EMS Deluxe 1 (powered by DD batteries).

I like it crow. It's difficult to have a discussion on the merits of opposing policy when from the outset the preferred tone is one of is mudslinging and the idiotic dueling of pundits. I can't bear to watch mainstream media anymore -- there's a lot of information out there, but little of it rises to the surface when the media highlights sensationalism and panders to the lowest common denominator. Ultimately, and hopefully with input other than mainstream media, we all must come to our own conclusions. Personally, I find it hard to fathom than anyone not securely seated among the we

Not that I expect any Bush apologist to actually read these ... RFK investigation of vote theft Greg Palast on vote theft investigation Hacking the electronic vote

of course, and the unification celebration is the point. But as someone who was ready to write off the Dems because of their failures to respond to the Bush/Cheney disaster, I am inspired by the quality and character of the candidates and platform. I really enjoyed watching the delegates -- talk about your melting pot. I'm expecting the Republican convention to be an army of pasty white men and blond women in business suits. Except for Ohio's former Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell.

outstanding. and all of THAT, is why I'm a democrat. About time. I hope they've got their ducks lined up when it comes to fighting back against vote theft. Haven't heard a word about it, and have no reason to believe things have improved. Here's hoping for a HUGE turnout. Also, thank god for C-SPAN.

uh, I googled monkey toes images.

I'll let that speak for itself, Shuck.

Hasn't the idea of peak oil been debunked? There's still plenty of oil in the ground, it's just going to be harder to extract from rock and tar sands than simply sticking a straw in the ground. Besides, oil is so 20th Century -- time to evolve. Regarding the Republic's favored method of campaigning -- smearing vs. substance. I have an idea that Democrats are just more respectful of others in general, and not prone to stoop to that level; Republicans seem to take the approach in politicking and governing that the end justify the means, regardless. I'm hoping Biden is less reluctant

Is killing innocent children or pregnant mothers in Iraq and calling it collateral damage OK? Or anyone else for that matter. I've often wondered what the intersection is between the pro-lifers and the pro-death penalty crowd. Hmmmm.

I got you a pile of puppies for your birthday, and to thank you for bringing much goodness into my life. Hope Sue doesn't mind.

man, that's tough. peace and love to your friend and his family.

Tried it recently, but couldn't get into Underworld. I'm game for Oscar Wao. How about some lighthearted nonfiction like Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine"?

I agree, Neil's a legend, I'll be thrilled to see him. I just know I'll leave wanting more than an hour of Wilco.
-
I'd vote for you. While we're at it, the networks should be required to provide FREE regular airtime for substantive discussion among candidates. They are our airwaves, after all. That'd drain a lot of the money out of campaigning.

I'll brave MSG again to see Wilco and Neil, even though it's such a crappy music venue. My only hope is Wilco gets to play a good long time. Personally, I'd much rather see Neil open for Wilco.

I don't know how many of you have gone through this...

not to worry dude. in my experience, they keep showing back up. -
god is a champ? While I enjoy pondering the imponderables as much as the next person, the only thing that makes sense to me is "I don't know, and neither do you." "our love is all of god's money" comes as close to summing up the idea of god as anything I've heard.

I've got Timmy on my lap, and if Jeff popped in this thread, I could die happy, surrounded by my favorite people on the planet. On the way back from the airport Sweet Caroline, Tim and I stopped at the shelter to scope out puppies. When Caroline leaves in a couple weeks, I'm gonna need one.

fucking assholes, dancing at a concert. I was neither drunk nor cool, but I was definitely dancing on the lawn, where you couldn't see the stage anyway. Thanks for stopping by!

I thought it sounded great just outside the pavilion -- much better than inside. But I'm known to have a tin ear, so I'm easy to please.

it's [s]carlos'[/s] Sir Stewart's birthday!
viatroy replied to Spawn's dad's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
yes indeed. I toasted you in your absence. Good work on the birthday! -
sublime How do they keep getting better and better?? The sound outside was outstanding, and the jumbovideothingie was clear as a bell. After a day of rain and menacing clouds, the sky magicallly cleared as we headed west (uh, make that east) to the venue, and it turned out to be a beautiful moonlit night. Wilco magic. There was definitely dancing on the lawn where I stood! I think Sweet Caroline floated to work this morning.

I'm camping at Hampton Inn. I know you'd approve. So far no complaints about the fire on the balcony.
