I can record this on my computer. If it comes out okay, I'll do my best to put up a YSI link or something. It would probably be an mpeg capture. I can burn it to DVD at home, but am not sure how I would do it so others can too.

Trust me, if you do some research your mind will be changed. Plus, all but 2 studios are signed on with HD-DVD. Check out this message board.

I bought one on Monday....and now a secret sale is 50% lower, 4 days later...I'll be damned. However, IT IS AWESOME. Better than I thought. Make sure you have and HDTV....some try to hook it to a normal TV and it just doesn't work that way.

It's music. Do whatever the fuck you feel like. That's the greatness of it. EDIT: for some reason I thought you were playing a solo show by yourself for the first time, instead of with a band. Anyway....

Scream scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it. The Ring was pretty wicked too.

I think the majority of musicians/artists make their income from touring and merchandise sales, not from album sales.

Big Muff for distortion. Tube Screamer for overdrive. The tube screamer I have has a bunch of settings, which makes it really versatile. I can get a really Beatles--Revolution sound all the way to groovy blues.

Huh. I haven't read anything by him, nor did I have any idea that would be your reply. Are all of his books that way?

"Whatever went away I'll get it over again I'll get money I'll get funny again..." Those are some damn good lyrics.

How was it different?

11 issues for $1.00. Pretty damn good deal.

I remember seeing Unbreakable in the theatre -- total shit movie (I thought). Anyway, I was on a date and the theatre was about half full, but no one was watching the movie. Everyone was talking out loud. Never experienced such group disinterest.

I actually have this little gadget. It's pretty cool. It's basically a TV tuner for your PC and it runs on USB. I initially bought it because it can tune in HD signals and I didn't have an HDTV. The drivers are a pain to get working, but there is a walkthru on their website to get everything going. The GT supports full HD 1920 x 1080, but will only record at 720 X 480, which is DVD quality. This may seem like a downside, unless you look at the system specs you'll need to edit HD video. There is a little dongle for RCA inputs and standard cable jack, so you can record VHS tapes to your hard d

Interesting, my group of friends all seemed to like it. Were your friends bored by it?

Me three.

After my mother's very similar reaction, I chose not to watch that movie.

Things I think are right with this country

Wrong thread! EDIT: Carlos, my mistake. -
I agree with the above statements about the Pats. They are amazing to watch. Perfection. Execution. All flawless. Having said that, I really disliked the Pats for many years for a myriad of reasons. But this year -- they bring the best football to the table I have ever seen. Ever. I cannot wait to watch this game. Does anyone know the spread? I know the Colts are underdogs at home, which is unreal.

I wonder if the Refs are betting on where he'll go...

Take yourself to Chili's and ask for a side of Avocado Ranch with your meal. It's good on everything and also the best dressing...ever. -
That thread is longer than some movie scripts, so... I turn off a lot of movies when I'm at home and do other stuff instead. Often I don't watch the rest of the film. This is a new thing for me.

I think Glenn did that, among other strange, different and awesome stuff -- like stringing piano strings through hubcaps and stuff. Creative genius.

My GF and I left one of the new (Pierce Brosnan) James Bond movies because she was sick. Other than that, I have never left due to content or film breakage.
