  1. I would assume, if you can get a feed off the board you could use some sort of rig with an ipod or a minidisc player. Is this what you mean?
  2. You read my mind, once again.
  3. My buddy just bought a D-18V and if it is anything like that you will it
  4. ...and who is the new couple? The guy using the bathroom in the hatch and the cute blonde girl?
  5. Fortunately they did not get any money, but tried to using some sort of fraudulent atm card. The bank said they tried to take $250 out of an atm in Chicago, and I live in Salt Lake City.... It really was inconvenient at the time because I was watching my younger sister while my parents were out of town and my debit card got declined at dinner...on the day I got paid. So I knew something was wrong. I had to get a new bank account, put a fraud alert out with all of the national credit agencies...etc. It was a royal pain in the ass. I always worry if they got my social security or something, some
  6. Sorry I didn't see the ooo and om thing. I got a new J45 about a year ago and it's been wonderful to have. If I could afford a vintage one, I would love to get one. Good luck and it will definately be a great investment.
  7. If I had a dollar for everytime I said that...I could...
  8. I've been itching for Here Comes the sun Again....
  9. I have an old Harmony archtop that I would really like to put a humbucker (or two) in. I just wanted some feedback to see if this is worth my effort and $$. I think it would sound cool, but don't know how much it would cost or what all is necessary. The guitar currently has no form of electronics.
  10. umm. Just in case you do want us to mind it...I got mine from pedalgeek.
  11. I got caught in a thing like this earlier this year. Some nice folks in the Windy City got my account info thru paypal phishing and tried to clean out my checking account. Not a fun experience.
  12. I read somewhere that Glenn showed up with a whole notebook full of notes on how he could play each part of the songs. That might have been in Kot's book. Either way, that's an amazing way to approach drumming/musicianship. And...I can't get over seeing him play a melody on the xylophone while drumming something else. Just phenomenal.
  13. Thanks. I am surprised by how much good old overdrive this thing produces. I thought it would just make the "weird" sounds. I believe it has a built in compressor, as when I record with it I get a really flat, even signal.
  14. Thanks! I actually saw that one and noticed that shipping was another $40...and was ready to spend until I found that pedalgeek.com had them for $179 with shipping. Thanks anyway for the heads up.
  15. I too have one of the Boss "pedal tuners." IMO, not the funnest way to spend your music equipment budget, but definately a fantastic tool to have.
  16. Mine finally came in the mail last night. Holy crap. Cools sounds for guitar... and then, I plugged in my bass and it was atmoshperic. Used in conjunction with the ebow, I got some very cool and very different sounds. I can't wait to go back through these posts and find some good settings.
  17. Hopefully, these will be some of the coolest pieces of music ever produced...not that (in thier normal states) aren't already.

  19. jhc - that's quite my point. Best thing I've seen this week. to you!!!!! I love that goddamn show too.
  20. It seems like most people use these with guitar, as Wilco does, but a lot of the info on this pedal mentions it's use with bass players. Anyone tried it with a bass?
  21. I have never gotten a response from the error reports. I just figured it was one of those things that got left by the wayside.
