I really like the way Jeff does Is That the Thanks I Get when he plays it solo. I think it has a really bluesy swagger to it that it lost when Wilco played it on Conan. Then it sounded too clean and poppy to my ears.

IMO, they brought more to the project than Mr. Bragg. Anyone can come in and holler off-key.

I hear you guys about getting a cool Gibson and having to "learn" parts of the guitar again. I started my first real post-college job this year and got a nice bonus - with which I got a ES 335. I went thru the same things, redoing all my pedal settings from my strat. Humbuckers are a godsend.

I watched a show about people who suffer from this type of disorder on 60 Minutes or a similar program. A lot of the people try to freeze their legs so they damage them to the point of amputation being necessary. Very, very odd. In my opinion, as someone above stated, these people should be in a mental ward. For some reason it strikes me as some distorted cry for attention.
