  1. Hell is a bit clunky, here. One of my favorite Weir songs, though. Eyes, nice.
  2. That would have been great. I never saw a jazz show at orchestra hall. one of these days...
  3. Great interview with Branford Marsalis.
  4. That's what I meant. I wanted another song. It sounded good.
  5. Have to admit, the set ended with a bit of a dud. But overall the set was great.
  6. Is it just me, or does anybody else have to wait a bit to figure out if it's Aiko, Aiko or Women are Smarter?
  7. Mystic. Got this at Rosemont. It sounded great, then. Sounds good here too. Did Jerry ever play this with JGB? It sounds like a song he would do with that band. (No, I checked the Jerry Site)
  8. Gosh, this is getting real good. Always one of my favorite Phil's vocal song.
  9. little rough into dire wolf, there. But it's sounding good. Nice crowd sing a long there, great save.
  10. Jeff's playing is adding a lot to this Dark Star.
  11. I did not hear him, but I could be wrong. Perfect!
  12. Have you ever saw a show at the Gorge. I have not. It looks rather awesome. I like the shared vocals on Loose Lucy and Crazy Fingers.
  13. Definitely looks like it. Does anyone know if the previous times they all toured together after Garcia died, if they always did the set list like this; a different band member comes up with one each night? I like the concept.
  14. This morning I listened to the 1st set of the 5.9.09 Forum Show. http://www.archive.org/details/dead2009-05-09.akg460.flac16 Very well played and pretty smoking. I haven't heard enough of the tour to say it the best overall set of the tour, but it's the best I heard thus far.
  15. If NC is North Carolina, you'll hear more than just the encore... edit: But I assume you knew that already.
  16. Damn those angry ticket-taker ladies!!!!!!
  17. Lammycat, did you make into the Denver show? I'm just curious.
  18. That's was my first reaction too...
  19. Warren sang it at the 5.4.09 Rosemont show. I guess I shouldn't assume he sang it last night too, though.
  20. That looks interesting. I assuming Warren was on vocals throughout. I heard Warren sing Standing on the Moon in Chicago and as I stated before it did not do much for me (a part of the show that I really missed Jerry's singing), but if you throw a Terrapin in there, it might change my opinion. I know Warren plays Terrapin with Gov't Mule, so hopefully he was singing...
  21. http://www.dead.net/dead09-show?show=5-16-the-gorge The above states that the doors open at 1:30pm and the show starts 3:30pm.
  22. I don't see the point of video at all and my wife is angry with me that I showed her the video. It ruined the song for her. (She may be over reacting, a bit, but to each his/her own). I agree with TheMaker. Below is from http://blogs.reuters.com/fanfare/2009/05/1...estic-violence/
