  1. If NC is North Carolina, you'll hear more than just the encore... edit: But I assume you knew that already.
  2. Damn those angry ticket-taker ladies!!!!!!
  3. Lammycat, did you make into the Denver show? I'm just curious.
  4. That's was my first reaction too...
  5. Warren sang it at the 5.4.09 Rosemont show. I guess I shouldn't assume he sang it last night too, though.
  6. That looks interesting. I assuming Warren was on vocals throughout. I heard Warren sing Standing on the Moon in Chicago and as I stated before it did not do much for me (a part of the show that I really missed Jerry's singing), but if you throw a Terrapin in there, it might change my opinion. I know Warren plays Terrapin with Gov't Mule, so hopefully he was singing...
  7. http://www.dead.net/dead09-show?show=5-16-the-gorge The above states that the doors open at 1:30pm and the show starts 3:30pm.
  8. I don't see the point of video at all and my wife is angry with me that I showed her the video. It ruined the song for her. (She may be over reacting, a bit, but to each his/her own). I agree with TheMaker. Below is from http://blogs.reuters.com/fanfare/2009/05/1...estic-violence/
  9. I heard this morning that the Gorge show broadcast will start at 9:30pm (central time).
  10. They are impressed with our restraint....
  11. Thanks. Haven't read anything from that series of books. Checked Amazon -- Didn't realize there was bunch more in that series. Someone needs to do one on a Dead album. Hell, someone did one on Celine Dion. (below is a link to all the titles) http://www.continuumbooks.com/Series/defau...amp;ImprintID=2
  12. That sucks. There is not much in the booklet. The below article is in it. http://www.dead.net/archives/1970/clipping...tate-university and track listings http://www.deaddisc.com/disc/Dicks_Pick_8.htm
  13. It's bobraf93@yahoo.com. Thanks.
  14. Upon the first listen of the new one, those last two were the only ones that grabbed me. The album is growing on me, but still not up to par with his latest output. Still holding out to hear him play some of it live. I have tickets for the Sauget, IL baseball show. Hopefully he will play a few new ones.
  15. It would be cool if they plastered a Wilco ad on one of the CTA trains here in Chicago. That train in Spain looks pretty damn cool.
  16. Planning to be around too. It will be interesting to see if any of the Allman Brothers sit in. I am assuming some will.
  17. http://www.iorr.org/talk/read.php?1,1019544 Above is a link to a Wilco thread in a Stones site. Half way down is a train with a Wilco advertisement on the side of it. It looks like the ad is for the show in TENERIFE, ESP. I'm curious to know if Wilco are all over the trains in Spain?
  18. No. It's up on Bt-etree but I have not listened to it. It looks like the taper had some issues taping the sucker. http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=524929 This Saturday, I think I am going to have to take a nap in afternoon/early evening. Yikes.
  19. That's a good question. I figured they would start a lot earlier than 7am, unless both the Doobie and Allman Brothers are playing very short sets, each. The Dead should definitely be playing their normal length set.
  20. As of last week, they will only be broadcasting The Dead.
  21. A very favorable review from All About Jazz. Also has the Ed Bradley interview that was brought up in a different Dylan thread. http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=32788
  22. Just bought Murray Street, Experimental Jet Set..., and tickets to the Sunday Vic show, today. Looking forward to see them at a smaller place. They only other time I saw them was at a Pitchfork and a Lolla. Only started to listened to them in the last few years ago, which is a shame i waited so long. The only other ones I have are Ripped, Daydream, and Evol. All I think are excellent. Their web page is to one of the best. So much information. Especially the Gear Guide section and Discography. The info and back story to the Murray Street disc is pretty interesting.
