Bull Black Nova was creepy good, and it's never been one of my favorites. That was one of the best sounding shows I've ever attended, by any band.

We made it through without losing power or any water intrusion. Many friends have been mandatorily evacuated by national guard. Flooding is still happening even with the sun out, due to reservoir releases. It's just fucking awful all around. Many in the national media don't seem to get that the Houston metro area is larger than Massachusetts. There's every degree of damage, from none to horrific. But people are rising to the occasion, and that's a great thing to watch.

I have listened to Goin' Down South and War Drums pretty much on repeat since last week. Such a great record. Seeing them in October.

I had to change out the nut and the bridge slots on mine, but now it's great. Nuts are a common Gibson problem, and that lyre trem is a notorious pain in the balls, tuning-wise. But that guitar has great tone.

Fleabag was indeed great. I think Patriot is my favorite show in a long time. I am also likely the only person who feels this way. I will be watching the whole season again soon.

My 17 year old was inconsolable the night of the election and beating himself up for not having done more during the campaign.

I admire the ability of many of you to do these. I'll start one and a month later still not be able to commit.
